Moving On To Six Grade

Moving to middle school will be kind of hard because I won't be able to see the wonderful studentsof J.H.House. The other thing is that I won't be able to come to blogs and work with Mrs.Davis. When We move to Middle school we will be the youngest students of all. I will have to come back when I am in Middle school and visit Mrs.Emmert. I hope that next year you have wonderful students like us. Thank  you for everything Mrs.Emmert. I will miss all of J.H.House specially the teachers that worked with me. Thankyou For Everything You Did!

 

Poetry The Greatest Thing Ever

Jackie Robinson

Hey, would you like to learn some stuff about Jackie Robinson? Well he was born on January 31, 1919, and died on October 24, 1972. Robinson was the first African American major league baseball analyst. He was called up toplay for the Brooklyn Dodgers.Robinson left college to support his mother, then he started to play football with the Los Angeles Bulldogs. In 1962 Robinson became the first African American to be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. When he was a kid he liked to play sports. When he was older he married Rachel Anneta Isum. After he died of a heart attack in 1972 his wife founded the Robinson Foundation. Now during black history month everybody remembers him of his baseball support, and that he was a great person.

What I'm Passionate About

Every time that I hear the word "Passionate" it makes me think of many different things like, being passionate about my favorite sport. I am very passionate about Soccer and Basketball because I am very good at those sports and I almost play every day. I am also very passionate about my family because they are very important to me. I love my family. I like to be very passionate,and what are you passionate about?  

 

Area and Perimeter

The only thing we have done in Math is that we have been taking about Perimeter and Area for shapes. It is really fun because at first I did not understand it but now I getting better at it. I think that when you start to learn this you will have fun with it. To find the area you have to multiply lenght xs wight, and to find the perimeter you add all of the sides. I hope you have fun with area and perimeter.

My Christmas Tradition

What I do with my family for Christmas is that every time we put up a Christmas tree and wee like to hang stuff on it. We also like to put up some lights on my house so it looks nice. My family gets together and we like to do a big feast on Christmas eve. When it is time to open the presents we open them one by one, we like to do that because we get surprise of what everyone gets. Thats what I like to do with my family every Christmas. 

"King Tut"

When I went to the King Tut exhibit I saw very old statues that were about 3,000 years old. It helped me learn more about the past how people found the mummies. I wished that I could travel back in time and see how people made all of the statues. The men that discovered the statues did not really know that they were very important. I saw very amazing stuff like the golden sandals and other necklaces made up of gold. It was very special of my teacher to do that for us and planed with the other teachers to take us to the "King Tut Exhibit". Thank you Mrs.Emmert! 

SUMMER PLANS

Today I read about a post talking about someone that said what he would do over his Summer plans. He said he would buy a new game for his Wii, he would also do some other more fun stuff. Elyjah's blog is very fun to go to. I think that he likes to make his Summer Planes before time.

Owl Talk

If I Were Principal

                               What I would do first get to school and say good morning to everybody. We would start of with what students do normally. Then at 10:00 I would tell everybody that we would take a field trip to Stone Mountain to watch a parade. After that when we would come back at 1:30. At that time we would watch CNN Student News. It would be a great field trip if we could go. Last we would be home at 2:10. I would really like to be principal, I would do very cool stuff with the students. Thats all I would do if I were principal for one day.
