  Every day is such a beautiful day! Sometimes we have our bad ones but we do have our good ones! Do you have those days that you just want to scream? Or do you think that nothing but bad things will happen? Well, lighten up! Your day is counting on how you're feeling. Make your day happy! Run around, play, do something new! Do anything that will get your mood up.Be happy! Make the world around you feel like your their present from up above! Since it's getting close to Summer, go outside! Everyday should be happy! So go. Good-Bye Can Mean A Second Chance

 Good-Bye Elementary School! Hello my second chance! My second chance happens to be middle school.Next year I'm going to be a middle schooler and won't be able to have this blog traveling with me.  I'll miss a lot of things but yet I'm excited to see new things. I'll miss my old friends that aren't going to my middle school, but I can make new friends. I'll mis my old teachers but I will get more. I can't wait but yet I don't want to go. I'll miss Ms.Davis (my blog teacher), Ms.Emmert (my homeroom teacher), Ms.Jones(my fourth grade teacher), Ms.Williamson(my third grade teacher), and all the other teachers I have met here at J.H.House.

     Sad faces, Happy faces. So many things but it always balances out. At the end, I'll miss doing this. Blogging. One day, I will make my own blog. Nothing I have to do but something I want to do. Seeing everybody's great comments and even just writing the posts. I hope you guys get to read my other blog! Bye! (Here goes that second chance!)

Harley: An amazing dog

   Today I read a comment from NyDaziah and Harley and they really made me think. I was thinking how much I appreciate all your comments and questions. Whether you know it or not, all your comments help me improve my writing when I'm blogging and when I'm in class. Maya Angelou, An Inspiring African- American

                          

Maya Angelou was an inspiring African- American woman. She was born on April 4, 1928 in Missouri. She was an activist, poet, dancer, and a writer! When she was little, she refused to talk for 5 ½ years because of a harsh event in her life. In 1931, when she was only three years old, her parents separated and she went to live with her brother and grandmother. Fortunately when she got older her luck changed. One day, she joined the Harlem Writers Guild. She also recited a poem at President Bill Clinton’s inauguration. Martin Luther King Jr. used to go around and say “You know I’m happy when Maya’s around!” Two weeks before his assassination he asked Maya to tour with him. Then he died on her birthday and she was heartbroken. Now, she is 80 years old and still living healthy and happy. This significant woman is inspiring younger children by telling them to chase their dream like she did to become famous. All her feats made her what she is today, from being a little girl in a small town to becoming a famous performer, poet, AND an activist.

Lights! Camera! ACTION!

    Do you have a passion that whenever you do it, it's like your soaring over a wonderland of dreams? My dream in that wonderland is acting. I really love to act. I love how when you act you feel like you're in someone else's shoes. I love to feel the rush of excitment through my body when I'm on stage. Different emotions flow thorugh me, nervous, excited, eager, extatic! Different thought run around in my head,  what do I say next? What do I do next? When I'm up there I can feel the audience just waiting hear the next line on the edge of their seat waiting to know what's going to happen next. Especially when I'm up there with friends and people I know. They give me the extra boost and the strength to move on and sometimes give me little signs of what to say next if I forget.

    My other passion is singing. I feel like I could burst with excitement when I hear I have a chance to be in a club or play and sing my heart out. If you listen real well when the radio is on, you can hear me silently singing to my self. I sing loud but not loud enough that I can out sing the radio. I would just disinagrate into a million little pieces if the world was without acting, singing, or music, period. Do you have a passion like mine or something that you will just die without? My New Years Resolution

My New Years resolution is to begin to write stories like I used to, sleep earlier, read more, wake up earlier, and try to remember all my math facts by April. My New Years resolution to sleep earlier is because when I wake up I am too tired I'm like a zombie when I get to school. Also, waking up earlier will give me a chance to wake up and more time to get ready for school. Waking up earlier will probably get my mind more moving so when I get home I'm not so tired so I can read more. My mind also works better if I get back to writing. I get so wrapped up in my stories that I get so eager to get home to write more. Remembering my math facts is a necessity that I haven't been paying too much attention to. All my New Years resolutions are what I'm going to try to make a priority of mine. What's your resolution?

What I Would Do As Principal

  Do you know what I would do as principal? I would probably give more free time for students to stop learning for an hour or two, more vacation time, more fun activities, more weekly events, and more fun assemblies with drawings and interactive stuff raffle winnings every week. Here's more on what I would do as principal.

   When we have free time, it always runs short and we don't have much time to play. We get caught right in the middle of having fun and then we have to stop, go inside and lug heavy books around to different places. Then, we have to sit everywhere we go bored out of our minds, probably falling asleep. I think more free time will wake us up. Especially, if we have recess early in the morning. We also need more vacation time to have fun and be with our families and sometimes, our friends. If someone in our family, who’s really close to us, has a birthday during school days, I think we should be able to spend time with them and celebrate his or her birthday without being counted absent.  Another way to get our minds into action is to have more assemblies every week and events every week. Assemblies should be fun, too. We shouldn’t get lectures or sit there for an hour or two wondering what’s going on. And the events can be more than just celebrating seasons or holidays, they could just be for fun. School events should also be voted on by students. We should also have a student council. We can have a voting booth and we can vote on things like student body president, class mayor, secretary, treasurer, and maybe even assistants for all of them. School should be a fun,exciting, can't wait to get there kind of place. So, make a difference and speak up and make changes. Try to get your school to change. Bye!
