This post is about figurative language. The sun is big. It is HOT like 1,000,000,000 degrees, liKe the volcano in Hawaii. I'm am usually a simile.

Good job Kyle - you compared the sun to a volcano using the word "like" so that is a simile. Another example of a simile would be "Your hands are as cold as ice!" I compared hands to ice by using the words "as". Check out the website again and tell me another example of a type of figurative language.
