Today in Eagle Club I was told to write 4 sentences about an article. The name of the article is called Hope for a Giving Tree. I got this information by a Time for Kids booklet.
- A 150-year-old chestnut tree has been rotten.
- They say they might cut it down, but the people are trying to save it because it connects to them.
- Anne Frank watched the tree as the seasons changed.
- They might cut the tree by January.
Do you want to save a tree by your love to the tree?
Why do you love the tree?
When my husband and I built our house, we built our house around an pecan tree that my husband remembered climbing and playing on when he was little boy. He didn't want us to cut it down because it was very special to him. He remembered when it was really small and how he and the tree grew up together. The tree now stands at the edge of our driveway.
Who is Anne Frank and why is she important in the article?
