Everyone Likes This Tree!

  In Eagle Club we were reading about an article. The article's name is Hope For A Giving Tree. It was in a Time for Kids magazine. It said that many years ago people said that this tree was a special one. There was a girl that said that this tree has been  living for many years. The people said that this tree has been living to long and now is old. It said that this family lived in a secret section of a building near the tree. The problem was that some people wanted to cut off the tree because the tree was old. But when the people notice that they were going to cut off the tree they started to send letters.In the letter it said that they didn't want to cut the tree because It was a special one and it was the tree that brought a smile to the children and to the people. And now they hoping for the tree.An this is what we read in the time for kids magazine.

How To Do Division!

  Do you know how to do Division,Multiply,Subtract,Compare, Bring down? For some people is hard to do this things but really it is not. Division looks hard but is not. Division looks hard because you have alot of numbers sometimes.Some people forget some times the steps of division but you can remember them by saying.

Division=Dad

Multiply=Mom

Subtract=sister

Compare=come to see

Bring down=Brother playing tag.

Do you know what figurative language is? Figurative language helps you with your writing at school. Figurative language are specific words  that you  like in your writing.Like when you are going to write paragraph you should use good words not boring words.

example: You want to discrive a ice cream you might use big or small instead of using boring words you can use like the ice-cream is a mile high or other words.
