My Candy Sweet Poem

  Today, Febuary 14,2008 is Valentines Day. That means there is a lot of love going on. My family means a lot to me so I wrote them a poem (in the center). This poem talks about how much I love them and how I always will.

Guess My Area

Do you know how to find the area of a shape? Well, it depends on what kind of shape it is. Since this shape is a triangle you have to do 1/2 x (bxh). Of coarse their are other shapes that have to be done differently. For instance the square. You have to do L x W ( Lenght x Width) to find the area. So don't be an air head. Be an "area head".

We are learning about polygons in math. Do you know what a polygon is? Well, it's a closed plane figure formed by 3 or more lines. So since we are learning about them I decided to make a post about them. There are all types of polygons: square,rectangle,triangle,circle,etc. If your wondering how I got that picture of a polygon to the left. I went to http://bighugelabs.com/flickr/.
