Same Faces

I feel very sad that the end of the year is here.It felt like I just stared school a month ago and now it has ended.There are many time that I want to remember.Many happy times. But there is also one particular time that I want to forget.It was painful, but it didn't bring me down.Edwards Middle School is a great school.I will get a lot of freedom but with that freedom comes responsibility.I am very sad to know that I won't be seeing the same faces again next year.If you are reading this and you are one of my friends that is going to Conyers Middle School I want you to know that I love you and that I am really going to miss you next year.Most of y'all are the ones that keep me up all day every day.Most of y'all make me laugh and have fun.To me you all are like my second family.I will really miss you guys next year.Good luck next year and hopefully we will meet again.Remember I get a hug from all of you on Wednesday and Friday right...right...right

Dear forth graders...

People in lower graders think that being a fifth grader is fun and very easy.But actually it is the opposite of this.Teachers expect a lot from you.You have to be able to take the responsibility to be a great role model for fourth, third, second, first, and of course Pre-k and kindergarten.When you get to fifth grade you need to be a very mature person and take all of your classes seriously.At the beginning of the year to the end of the year you need to focus in class and respect all the teachers.If you get in trouble in fourth grade you wouldn't like to get in trouble in this grade.Mr.Harris, Ms.Henning, Ms.Emmert,and Ms.Tobler are great teachers they can help you with anything,but you wouldn't like to get in trouble with none of them.The CRCT can be very hard for some people even if you are the smartest kind in your class you will still have some trouble with the test.Even though fifth has some downs it always has an up button.There are so many awesome activities just for fifth graders that you have never done before.As a fifth grader you need to also enjoy the last year in this school.Me myself I don't really feel good about leaving this school because most of my friends are going to Conyers Middle School and I am going to Edwards Middle School,but I hope you really enjoy being in fifth grade next year and good luck see you in Middle School!!!!!!

Express Don't Be Scared!!!!!!

Be proud of who you are.Don't listen to what they say.Don't even care.Because if you listen you will start turning into what they want you to be not who you really are.Some parts of your life are painful, but don't let them throw you down and keep you down.Some day you will have to get over it.I understand it won't be easy but be strong if you need to cry CRY show how you feel.Don't pretend you strong and by holding this back your a man or your a women.Be your self that all am trying to say!!!!!!!!

CRCT

Are you ready for the CRCT?Well,I am not ready at all.I have learned a lot this year,but you never know.I will try to do my best because as much as I love this school I want to move on and I need to move on and go to 6th grade.Me myself I don't have a lot of confidence when it comes to what they call the "biggest  test of the year." Infact it scares me to hear that the CRCT is next week.To try to do my best I will focus in class a little bit more these couple of days left until the real thing pops up.During the CRCT I will also focus.I will also put everything that I have in my mind aside and just think about the test.Think about how proud I will make my family not just here,but my family in Mexico too.Every person is smart in there own way,but you are smart.This is a time to show how smart you are and to shine.Put everything aside and stuff your brain with information think about how fun it will be next year.I will hopefully be out of J.H.H and into Edwards Middle School.I have had a lot of fun this year so I don't really want it to end.Pluse many of my friends are going to Conyers Middle School so I want see them anymore so that will really stink.I always get frustrated about the CRCT,but maybe when I see the real test on my desk I won't freak out like I' ve been doing this couple of days.Tips that might help you are......

• Go to bed early
• Drink a lot of water
• Eat a good breakfast every morning
• Pay attention in class this few days
• STUDY
• Take this seriously
• Try not to freak out
• FOCUS, FOCUS, FOCUS

Do you know what "Karimove" means?

We have been reading the book Frindle.If you don't know what the word frindle means it is another meaning for pen.My word is "karimove" to me it supposedly means to love someone.Do you have someone that you love?Well,I do.My family and friends.Family's always goes first,and then friends go second to me at least.What I noticed is that if you look at the presidents last name on the computer labs wall you will see that my word and his last name is almost the same as my word.

"Wiston Churchill"

In language we have been learning about important people like Winston Churchill.He was born in Nov. 30, 1974 and died in 1965.He was Great Britain's  prime minister during the war.He graduated from the Royal Military College.In 1900 he got elected Parliament as a Conservative.He was a very successful person.When Winston was a prime minister Franklin D. Roosevelt was president at that time.Churchill succeed Chamberlain as prime minister on May 10, 1940.If you want more information about Winston Church you can just click on his name.

I went to Jermain blog. I saw something funny those lines down there are part of the story that he wrote. It me and my friends laugh so I wanted to put it on my blog.In order for you to read the rest of the story you have to go to his blog. I hope that you enjoy this! Jermain: oh my goodness 1 more time/ guess what I seen I seen this old lady with a diamond ring so oh my goodness 1 more time/ she look scary then I ask her did she just get married or did she just get buried

I liked this because it  is pretty funny. It is also interesting because he used good interesting word that kept my attention. He was also doing a good job of describing things, and not making me fall asleep.

Incredible Edible Veggie Bowls

      Prep time about 10 min.

Ingredients:

• 26 green, yellow, or red peppers
• 26 bunches of celery, washed
• 26 carrots, washed and peeled
• your favorite salad dressing

Utensils:

• Knife { You might need help from an adult}
• cutting board

Directions:

1. Cut the pepper in half (from side to side). Clean out the seeds and gunk from the inside. Now you have two pieces. One will be your pepper-shaped bowl.
2. Cut the other half of the pepper into skinny slices.
3. Cut the carrot into skinny sticks about 4" long.
4. Cut celery into skinny sticks so each one is about 4" long.
5. Put a little salad dressing in the bottom of your pepper bowl.
6. Put celery sticks, carrot sticks, and pepper slices into the pepper bowl.
7. Now you've got a portable veggie treat! You can pull out the veggies and eat them with a little dressing. Then when you're finished with the veggies, it's time to eat the bowl!

Serves: 26

"Earth Day"

We are going to peoples blog and reading there post. This post that I read was the one that Chelsea typed in.

Earth day is a holiday when you can think about the Earth. And it is on April 22, 2007 it is a really cool holiday.

Well, she gave me info about Earth Day. I knew that their was an Earth Day ,but  I didn't know nothing about it. People sometimes forget that we got to take care of the, but we need to remember it all the time because it is very important in the human raise.
