This post is about Figurative Language.
Hyperboles are fun because you can say anything. Like I have a Sprite bottle as big as the Empire State Building. I am 30"11. That baby is as small as my finger.
Metaphors are comparing two objects. My hair is softer than a cloud. My dog runs like the wind. I can float like a feather in the wind.
This comment is about correction.
The last two sentences on your post were not metaphors, the first one was though.(a good one at that)
Sentences with "like" or "as" are similes. And, they are alot easier than metaphors.
Try thinking of some more of either one.
