My class and I watched Planet in Peril in weblogs. I hated it. I mean I don't like to watch movies or videos about animals that are getting hurt. I'm not an animal hugger or something like that, I just don't like to see animals get hurt( like my dog got ran over by a van and got all his ribs crushed). A lot of the endangered animals live in Madagascar. Also in Greenland all the ice is melting. It has melted in Greenland so much that one of the biggest parts of the island has melted and formed an mountain (glacier) in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
One man from Colorado University has been in Greenland for 17 seasons to navigate the island. Also him and his friends live under ground in the island to stay a little warmer + that way the 100 mile an hour winds in the middle of the island won't knock down his or his friend's tents. In those tents are their are really cool technology. They also have their sleeping bags and other home stuff.
Tyler, I am sorry to hear that your dog was run over by a van. I can understand that. My first dog was run over by a car and we had to put her to sleep. That was a really sad time for me and I can understand why watching Planet in Peril can remind you of that sadness. However, it is also important to see these things that are happening to animals so we can work to stop them!
