This post is about Figurative Language. A Big exaggeration is called an hyperbole and here are some examples, one is it is raining Cats and Dogs, the boy ran as fast as lightning but it really means that they boy is running really fast. So hyperbole means like when you don't want to say that the boy is running really fast you just say an exaggeration. Idiom is when it really is not true but it is an expression. For example the is running fast as lightning is an Idiom.
