This post is about figurative language
Have you ever heard the phrase "No pain, no gain"? Well thats a part of figurative language. Figurative language is a language that's not taken literally. The one I used in the first sentence was a Cliche. It's a word or phrase that has become overly familiar ore commonplace. Another figurative language is an Onomatopoeia. It names a thing or an action by imitating the sound associated with it. There are also nine figurative languages in all. Can you guess at least three out of the 9?
can you please give me 15 examples of figurative languages?i need it now!!help!
