Free At Last

Dear Friends,    10-19-1854

   I am so excited to be on the underground. I call it the tunnel of freedom because I won't have to be a slave anymore! We're going down south to the bahamas where we can live life of luxery for a chance. Sooner or later we're probally move up tho Canada, but we'll wait for that. We had to escape from boat all day and night for 6 days, but we finally made it! Now we see different races now and other places.Hopefully you will do the same.

Have you ever heard the phrase "No pain, no gain"? Well thats a part of figurative language. Figurative language is a language that's not taken literally. The one I used in the first sentence was a Cliche. It's a word or phrase that has become overly familiar ore commonplace. Another figurative language is an Onomatopoeia.It names a thing or an action by imitating the sound associated with it. There are also nine figurative languages in all.
