We are doing a post on something in the Time For Kids that we are interested about. The title of the artical I am using is called A Nobel Achievement. It is about scientists that compete in a contest for the Nobel Prizes. The 2007 winners are Mario Capecchi, Olvier Smithies and Britain's Martain J. Evans won for physics because they did stuff like putting memory into an iPod. But Albert Fert of France and Feter Grunberg of Germanywon for physics. How do you think he came up with the idea for the memory card?
Well, he probably wanted to add more files to to his ipod. So he developed more memory for the ipod to hold more music, etc. Isn't it amazing that something so small has so much memory! Do you have an ipod?
