Hi, I’m doing a little project about North Carolina. They have a state song the name of it is “The Old North State.” It was written by William Joseph. It was adopted on February 27, 1927.There state flower is called “Dogwood.” North Carolina also has some nick names: The Tarheel State, The Land of The Sky, The Old North State, The Turpentine State, and The Rip Van Winkle State. Their state bird is the Cardinal. It was adopted on March 4, 1927. I think those are some great facts I hope you do to. If you went to North Carolina you could go to the beach with your family or you’re self. There’s lots of fun games you could play: laser tag, swimming, and walking. If you have never been there before it is east to Tennessee. The capital of North Carolina is Raleigh. The area is 53,821 square mile. The population is about 8,407,248.Thats all for now.
