Everyday we watch CNN Student News.Today on CNN they talked about Jena Six in Louisiana. It was about a black boy who asked to sit under a tree where the white people would sit.The black boy asked the princable if he could sit under the tree and he said yes. The wh ite people said no, but he sat there any ways and they beat him up. The next day the white boys put up ropes like they where going to hang somebody. They got suspended. There was a white boy that brought a shotgun to school and threatened to shoot the one the black boys. So six boys beat the white boy up. The six boys were going to get put in jail for attempted murder. The white boy got put into a coma. Now people all over the united states are going to Louisiana to settle this.
Hi Autumn --
This is a nice post. I like the way you used a lot of good details to explain the topic. I can tell you took really good notes when watching CNN? How did the story make you feel? Do you agree with the court's decision to try the boy as juvenile rather than an adult? What are some lessons we can all learn from this news story?
