If you have walked past our classroom lately, you have been surrounded by jungles, deserts, farmlands, oceans, and even the frozen arctic! After studying a unit on animals and thier habitat, students chose thier favorite animal and created a diorama exhibiting the correct environment in which it lives.
Students then presented thier information to the class. From Matthew's penquins to Tyler's stable horses, we learned tons of new information on many interesting animals! I can't wait to see future projects from these creative kids!

last year when ms.mccullers told us to do for homework was diaramas we made animal habitats and then wee showed it on friday last year mine was about polar bears and I didn't have much to show but at least I try

I remember when I was in third grade. I think that we did that project. I was in Ms. Rikards class. Now i'm in 5th grade.I thougt that Ms. Rikards class was fun.

I loved your class's projects.I think the penguin project was great.I still remember doing those projects when I was in third grade.It was fun,I did mine on dolphins.

She is the best third grade teacher I ever had.I had lots of fun with her in third grade.But I left after two weeks I still think of her and sometimes I even have dreams of her and me playing together.I miss her a lot. Love,Christina

The penguin diorama is great! My 1st grader has to make one also and I wanted to know what material is your "snow" made out of. It looks like some type of styrofoam. Thank you very much.
