Martin Luther King Jr. 1929-1968

Martin Luther King, Jr. was and still is a very important man in history. He changed African Americans lives. King, during the 1900s, was like a hero to African Americans. Not only because he fought with them for their rights. It was because he didn’t give up. King continued his way with trying to help African Americans. Fortunately, he made it and gave African Americans their rights. He must’ve worked very hard. On April 4, 1968, Martin Luther King, Jr. was shot! He was shot while standing on a balcony of the Lorraine Motel. After his death, Coretta Scott King, King’s wife, carried on aspects of his work until her death on 2006.Coretta even wrote a book talking about her life with King. Today we remember Martin Luther King, Jr. by the speech he gave before his death. We also remember him by celebrating his birthday every year which is on the month of January. I’m sure that no one will forget him with what he did to history. Especially African Americans. They will never forget him. Martin Luther King, Jr. must have had a great heart, because trying to give African Americans their rights was very hard in those days. Well, that’s what I’ve heard, but I do believe that is true.   

A Famous African American, Michael Jordan!

     Do you want to know something about Michael Jordan? Well here are the details, He was born on February 17, and 1963.The things they faced were hard. Michael Jordan led the US basketball team that was trying so hard to win the Olympic gold medals in 1984 in Los Angeles and in 1992 in Barcelona Spain. He was also appointed president of basketball operation for the club.  What Michael Jordan did to affect the world was he remained close to the sport buying a share of the Washington wizard in 2000.

   Michael Jordan was a nice guy.  He helped a lot of people that were on his team. The people that are on his team counted on him. He tried very hard on getting on the team but he didn’t get on it. He tried his best on doing basketball that was his favorite sport.

     Michael Jordan did a movie in 1996 it is called Space Jam bugs bunny and daffy duck start on the movie. That is called space jam it is about the life of Michael Jordan how it is when he was a kid. And his childhood. It is also about helping others and teaching them what to do. When you grow up to be like Michael Jordan.
