An Inspiring Post

I just read an inspiring post from a girl named Elizabeth from Mr. Howitt's class in China. It was funny, interesting and I liked how she used great ways of describing. Elizabeth's blog has a story of how she found her toothbrush in the toilet with her brother's toothbrush. It was very described and she made it sound funnier than it was if I say, "She found her toothbrush in the toilet." Her post really helped me with writing completely by using great details and just how it made a movie in my head. I could just see the toothbrushes in her toilet. I love to write mystery stories and her story has great suspense which a mystery story should. I loved it! Elizabeth, keep up the great writing!

King Tut Exibit

 The King Tut Exibit is interesting. We didn't get to see the 3d movie but I bet it was great! The treasures were weird and everywhere you look, gold is right in your face. His bed was like a miny hammock but doesn't swing. The headreast looked uncomfortable but I guess he thought it was comfortable. His name in Egyptian text was unuasual. Check it out!

 Do you want to know how commenting helps me blog? It helps me by lots of things! It helps me think of how I can get my blog to be better and gets me to thinking how I could mention your questions in my blog without making it sound like a list. It also makes me think how different people are. The different comments and opinions help me do that. Your comments have inspired me to think more and harder at that! I love to write and I was excited to blog and then when I started getting tons of comments, I was even more excited! I also like going to other people's blogs(if you have one) and commenting on their blog. It helps me reflect in ways of things related to out of school life, too. If you have a blog, why don't you think about how comments changed your blogs over time and what do you see? I know I've changed a lot! As you can see, commenting is a big part of blogging! If I Had a Wish Giver In My Town

Have you ever read the book The Wish Giver? Well, I have and it's about this man in a tent by a church in a small town called Coven Tree and four children that come to his tent during a church meeting and each get a card with a red spot in the middle. He tells the children that if they press the red spot, they will get one wish. When they press the button, it backfires on them and becomes a mess. I know that if you get one wish you would want to make it specific and exactly what I want it to be.

If I had a wish giver in my town and I paid twenty-five cents for a red spotted card, I would wish for either wish for no wars between anyone or for all the animals in the world to be helped and satisfied without killing each other or humankind or I would wish for the world to be cleaner, healthier, and better.

My Super Fantastic Fall Break

My Fall Break was busy half the day and lazy the other half. During the week days, I would go to an Enrichment Camp. I learned to cook all kinds of pastries in a professional kitchen at the RCA ( Rockdale Career Academy) and learned all about drawings and how to draw different things in the class I took. I didn't get to pick the classes but I would of if I had the chance! Going to Enrichment Camp is like the first day of school.. You're hoping you get a good teacher for your classes and hoping your friends will be with you the whole day and expecting to be welcomed with a whole lot of hellos. It was really fun and I hope I get to do it again next year.For next year they're going to have a CSI class and there was a chance I could of done it last year but I would have had to pay but if I waited we figure we wouldn't have to pay so much. The rest of my days after camp I would go to my grandmother's house and eat lunch and do whatever comes to mind. During the weekend, I went to my sister's house and spent the night because my other sister came in from Southern Georgia. I had a whole lot of fun there. My cousins came over one day and we all played in the bedroom I slept in the night before. We also watched a movie that I can't remember the title of. Well, I hope to hear your comments! Bye!

Reflecting

Do you know what reflecting means? Well, sometimes it means different things to different people. To me it means to look inside of you; to see what characteristics you have and what your passions are. I learned about reflections when I little because when I first watched Mulan, I never got it but once I watched it over and over, I understood. I understood what the song "Reflection" means. It meant, Mulan couldn't see what she was really like on the inside. If you can't see what your like on the inside then go ahead and show it. Reflection can also mean reflecting on your learning and what you did. For example, if you did something wrong, you can sit down and reflect on what you did and sometimes reflecting is a good thing. What do you think reflection/reflecting means?
