Blogging for the Legislatures!

Jose Juan and Zachary got their caricatures made at the Georgia State University Leadership Appreciation night.  Jose Juan and Zachary were selected to show off their weblogs and how blogging is an effective use of technology in public schools.  They did an outstanding job representing JHH.

Spelling Bee Champs

A brother/sister duo!  Congratulations to JHH Spelling Bee winner Tramanda and first runner up Darrin!  This is the first time we have ever had a brother and sister be the winner and first runner up.  Did you two study together? 

Honor Roll Students

Congratulations to our 2nd Quarter Honor Roll Students!  We had so many students that you couldn't even fit in to the office to get your certificates.  Keep studying hard!

A Magical End

The last day of the first semester ended on a great note with Mr. Ginn's Magic Show!  What was your favorite part of the show?

Never Before...

Students received a prize like never before at December's Perfect Attendance Party!  Each student got their own bottle of bubbles and went outside to blow them.  It was so much fun!  What has been your favorite perfect attendance party ever?

A Big Thank You for A Big Check!

Representatives from the Georgia Federal Credit Union surprised Mrs. Hooper with a $500 check for our school!  The Credit Union is one of our Partners in Education and donated the money to help our school buy supplies we need!  Join me in thanking the Georgia Federal Credit Union for their generosity. 

Paint the Town December!

Our 2nd and 3rd Graders did an OUTSTANDING job performing at our PTA meeting!  The cafeteria was packed full of proud parents, siblings, and teachers as the students shined with their fabulous voices.  Be sure to thank Mrs. Goode for doing such a wonderful job planning and preparing the program!

2005 Quiz Bowl!

 

All Quiz Bowl Contestants did an outstanding job representing their class in this year's first Quiz Bowl!  Congratulations to the winners from Mrs. Hennings 5th grade class (Rocio and Martha), Mrs. McIntosh's 4th grade class (Benjamin and Tramanda), and Mrs. Rikard's 3rd Grade class (Kevin and Jesse). 

Doughnuts for Dad!

1. The cafeteria was full of DAD's this morning as our Kindergarteners invited their dad to eat dougnuts with them for breakfast.  I could tell that all of you love doughnuts and your dad!
