One thing I hear from the boys and girls as they leave P.E. class is, "Yuck, I'm sweaty!" But did you realize that sweat is a good thing?
On my favorite websites, Kids Health, which is devoted solely to the questions and concerns that smart kids like you might have about their body and health, I was able to find a great article that can help us better understand sweat. It addresses the question: What's Sweat?
I think it is amazing that our bodies have their very own air conditioning system in the form of sweat! But remember, it is always important to replace the water that came out of your body in the form of sweat by stopping at the water fountain for a quick drink after P.E. no matter how cold it is outside or even when you think you're not thirsty!
