We are learning about idoms and here are you examples.

4. I hit angel and got sent to the doghouse.

6. When angel started crying I told him he need to chill out.
7. When I eat a lot of sweets I get called sweet tooth.
8. In the Bernie Mac show Bernie Mac is the top banana.
9. My friend was as sick as a dog when he was in the hospital.
10. When I got all A's I was on top of the world.
My dear Derrick,
You would say "poor as a church mouse" in the singular. The subject and verb don't quite agree the way you have it.
The same goes with "Lend me your ear"...I hope you read the Shakespeare play from whence this comes.
He "needs" to chill out. I hope he does in the future.
I enjoyed your top banana idiom the most. Denise Drysdale, an Australian actress, is frequently called a Second Banana.
