Rita the Raging Storm

                 Hurricane Rita was a storm that almost caused more destruction than Katrina and hit when it was only a category 2, so it didn’t come to much trouble but it could have caused a massive amount of damage. Rita was a giant storm because it soaked up more water than Katrina, so Rita was like a more colossal, stronger, and more intense version of Katrina. Rita was huge and massive and the next storm passing right by us was bigger than Rita was. The next hurricane doesn’t look too horrible but once it soaks up water there’s no telling what it could do. The next hurricane I think is called Lamar. Rita is gone now, but its story isn’t. If you look it up you could learn a lot about hurricanes and other storms. Get inspired about weather like me and who knows; someday YOU could be part of weblogs too. I wish I knew what caused Rita to grow so massive and then just dissapear. Maybe Lamar will be stronger. What damage do you think Rita could have caused if it still were a catogory 5 when it hit? What do you think the next hurricane will be called? How do you think Rita stayed in water longer than Katrina did?  See U later!!!

Trouble with Testing

Hi. I'm  saying what I feel about testing. I do NOT like testing but I understand that they do it because if we don't  do it then we will not make it to middle school. I don't like testing because; well, let's just make it more simple. T is for terrible, E is for E minus, S is for Super Dumb, T is for Testy, I is for Idiodic, N is for a No-No, G is for Gagging. Testing is bad for me. Here's three good reasons why I LOTH testing. #1: It takes to long. #2: It makes me sleepy. #3: It is so BORING!!!!! Well, THAT'S NOT ALL FOLKS!!!! I'll be back soon!

Troubleshooting Tsunamis

Hello. I’m reporting on behalf of the tsunami in India. I am going to have a fresh new start with this topic. I will begin with the first half so, here you go.

1st Half

The first half is about the damage in India: A thirteen-year-old boy named Steny who lived at the southernmost area was one whose house got hit. He was one who survived it. The houses were destroyed and some were just left without their homes! Not just one area got hit either, probably thousands of homes were destroyed, including poor Steny’s house.

2nd Half

This half is about some things they did to rebuild the houses that were hit. Steny was helping the members of the village to rebuild the house. There still might be a slight wait in the reconstructing of the house but it is under control.

What do you think could have caused it? How do you think earthquakes could cause tsunamis?

Should Elementary Students Blog?

I think that blogging is fun and I think that Elementary students should have one of of their own. I understand that someone could type something bad on the comment but I think it should be no problem. Blogging is fun but believe it or not it's a LOT of hard work. Most kids are thinking it's a breeze but then it hits them that blogging is not just work, it's a lot of my least favorite word, homework. I enjoy blogging myself but some other kids may think it's hard. I would think it would not be fair if someone said I couldn't blog, I love blogging and I wish I could blog more but I'll be in middle school next year. So, to me and my fellow bloggers; HAPPY BLOGGING!!!

The Wrath Of Katrina

Hello. I’m reporting about a major storm called Hurricane Katrina. Here is some news reported about it. Hurricane Katrina has claimed an unknown limit of lives and has just now disappeared. Hurricane Katrina went from a category 2 to a category 5. A hurricane is created in West Africa, where wet weather; winds and warm ocean waters power small storms; by the way, most of the storms stay ittsy bittsy, but some speed up and grow as they travel west. When these massive thunderstorms form a swirling pattern, the storm system is called a tropical depression, when the storms reach 40 mph; the storm system is called a tropical storm.    More than 1,000,000 people had to leave their homes in search for clothes, food and water. The city of New Orleans was turned into a swimming pool because of Hurricane Katrina. I feel really badly for New Orleans city, or I should probably call it New Orleans the swimming pool now, you can help the needy by donating money to the American Red Cross to let the needy get things they might have lost by the hurricane. We at JHH Elementry School are holding some funds and getting teddy bears for the needy. Well, that is all the news I can inform at the time but next tine I will inform more news. Catch you later!!!    {How do you think Hurricane Katrina got so powerful?}
