Thankful For...

I'm thankful for this school that has the best teachers and the best education for us. I'm also thankful for the teachers that stay late for they could find the right things we need to learn and for they could find the best way to teach us the new thing we are going to learn. I'm thankful for the  teachers that stay after school  for Eagle Club that want to help us with the things we need to learn. I'm also thankful  for the things that I have like my family and the home I sleep in.

Watching Planet in Peril

Our world is getting in Peril we have to do some thing to stop it  because is going to be bad for us and for the animals. The world is getting hot that is melting the ice in Antarctica and in Greenland that is bad for the bear. In China the water is polluted with lead and the doctors worry that the kids may get sick by the water. That water is use for  taking bath and to drink, and for other things. This is  some of the things that are happening to world if we don't take care of it. Would you like to live in a world being destroyed by us yes or no?

Tough Lesson

Today in eagle club we got a Time For Kids. The teacher said to pick out a story that we like in The Time For Kids and read it. Then when we finish from reading it to do a post about it.I chose Tough Lesson because it was interesting. In Afghanistan they  are teaching second grade. There are 1,500 kids in that school. There is no playground for they could have little fun. There only a hole to the ground for they could go to the bathroom and they could not let the water run. Since 2001, 3,500 new schools have opened but half the schools are tents or outside under the shade trees. There are 40,000 teachers needed this year but the government only budgeted for 10,000 teachers. What problems will this schools face if there is only had a little amount of teachers?
