Cafani

People to this day have been making up words that you might find strange. But sooner or later you end up saying it. Well, I thought it would be cool to make up a word of my own. So I made up the word cafani ( cuh fa knee). Strange right? Well, cafani means too shocked to speak. So if at anytime you are really surprised well them that means you are cafani. If your still confused on what the word means then here is an example sentence:

When I came home from school and saw a surprise party going on for my birthday I was feeling really cafani.

Some other words I made up were laranga that's pronounced ( lur on guh),and that means really talented. Also there is the word creama. (cree ah mow) witch meand creative. There are a lot of words people can make up. So don't be lazy and be creamo. YOU a are probably very laranga.

Middle School Feelings

       Dear Sixth Grade,

Now that I will be going to your grade now i'm excited , but also a little nervous. First of all I have new teachers, a new schedule, and plus I have to make new friends. There's a lot of new things that will be happening.

Since I'll have new teacherts that means I have to get on their good side. Get to no what kind of teacher they are and how they want things to be done. I also have to make sure i know what makes them happy. and angry. I really hope that my teachers are nicce and won't get angry at me even if i breathe to loud. You may say that's not possible but it could happen.

Having a new schedule is pretty difficult. I have to figure out where all my classes are. That's a lot of work. Everyday until the end of the school year I have to know where science or spanish,or english class is every week day unless we get a break.  But the good thing is eventually I will memorize my whole schedule and know where all my teachers are.

Now I have to make new friends even though I love hanging out with ones I have now. But it's also good to meet new people. I'm really not sure what  should do to make it easier for me to make new friends and hang out with people more often. People proabably already have all of their good friends . But I think I'll get through I just can't be shy and start talking to more people when I get to sixth grade.

                                                Sincerly,

                                             Chloe'

Saying Goodbye to the Good Times

Now that I'm leaving elementary school things will change. I'll have new classes a new schedule, make new friends, and most of all new teachers. I would like to say thanks to all of my teachers for helping me through this whole school year. But I would mostly like to thank Mrs.Emmert and of coarse Mrs.Henning. I was new to this school, I really had no friends and I wouldn't talk to anyone.  But Mrs.Henning she helped me. She talked to my mom about the situation and did whatever she could to make me feel more comfortable here at the school. I'll really miss Mrs.Henning especially because she was one of the best homeroom teachers I've ever had. Mrs.Emmert has just been the nicest teacher you couldn't even imagine. She's always right there to help you. She's taught me about blogging which is something I've never done to before. She made me have a lot of fun with it. I never thought that making a blog would be really any fun. But she showed me that it really can. Those teachers are the reason I've had so much fun here at school. They've always believed in me even though at times I've never really believed in myself. Mr. Harris has also been a pretty good teacher. He has been pretty strict at times. He really doesn't except excuses, but I realized that he's just preparing us for life. Even though I'm really going to miss my teachers and my friends that won't be attending the same school as me in middle school I'm still going to remember the god times I've had with them.

P.S. Mrs.Emmert I might actually start another blog later on and that's all because of you so look out for one made my me! :)

Get Ready for the New Beginning

Dear soon to be Fifth Graders,

Your probably thinking it's going to be easy in 5th grade and that everything is just going to be a breeze for you. Well, being a 5th grader means a lot of responsibility. Think about it your going to be the top grade in the whole school. Your basically like the mini adults of the school. The lower grades will be looking up to you. Whatever you do they probably want to do to. So here are some tips to help.

There will be more homework of coarse, but don't worry we don't get homework on Fridays. Also we don't go outside that often. We only go every three weeks depending on how your card is or if you've read a certain amount of books ( The amount of books required to read goes up by five each week). Yes, you still can get your cards pulled. There is no escaping those until middle school.  It's still important to get on the teachers good side. Also the best part of fifth grade is at the end of the year. First of all instead of you singing to the fifth graders while your in 4th grade the fourth graders sing to you while your in 5th grade.

See 5th grade is not as easy as it seems you have to work twice as hard to try and keep those grades up. We still have projects and writing essays. Fifth grade is a lot of fun but it can also be as lot of work and sometimes tiring but it's all worth it once your done with it.

We have learned about different kinds of math words in math of coarse. For instance digit. Well, i have a little quiz that you can answer to see how much you know about these words. But there is a trick to find out the answer to them.

                                                          Directions

When I write a quiz in the quiz you have to highlight the invisible word and you'll find the answer.

                                                   The Mind Twisting Quiz

Love

In blogs we have talked about motivations. A motivation is a saying that keeps you going and keeps your sprit up. An example of a motivation is: Beauty- Beauty is not what you see on the outside, it's what is in the inside. Well, I created a good motivator that I think will  really inspire someone. Maybe even you.Chloe

Tips on Staying Relaxed on the CRCT

In class we have been learning about taking the CRCT and some things we should do while taking it. Well one thing that is really important to during the test is to always stay focus. Your probably wondering how can i stay focus when i have a test in front of me that decides on whether I'll pass this grade or not. Well here are some great tips that can help:

  1. Eat a healthy breakfast so you can stay focus without hearing the sound of your stomach growling
  2. Get at least 8 hours of sleep because who would ever want to fall asleep during CRCT.
  3. Where comfortable clothing so you can relax.
  4. Mark neatly while taking the test because you wouldn't want to leave stray marks.
  5. Take your time but also work a little fast on the test.
  6. Read the directions carefully on the test.
  7. If you get stuck on a question you can always skip and come back to it later.
  8. Don't look on someone else's paper if you get stuck that's cheating.
  9. If you really don't know the answer to a question make an educated guess.
  10. When your done with the test you should always check it over just in case you skipped a question.

Well those are all my tips. I hope these tips help you to stay relaxed and focus during the CRCT. Good Luck!
