Tips for Next Year's 5th Graders

Dear upcoming 5th graders,

                       5th grade is really fun. IF you listen and follow directions, especially when you're in 5th grade. Now that your the oldest and highest level at Elementary School you have to set a good example for the other students. Show them what's right and what's wrong. You are going to have to get used to the 5th grade teachers meaning what they expect for you to do and accomplish. These are some of the things they expect

• for you to listen and follow directions
• to be prepared and ready for class ( some of the teachers won't let you go back to your homeroom to get what you need )
• respect others
• whatever you do do not talk back

Now here are somethings about the teachers ....

             Mrs.Henning

• She's very nice
• She's there when you need help
• she teaches a subject until you understand it

Mr.Harris

• He's nice,funny, and strict
• When he teaches he tries to compare it with something you do or use every day which makes it  very funny and fun to learn
• He makes you understand something but in a funny way
• When he gets you in trouble he only does it for your good

Mrs. Emmert

• She's a very creative teacher
• If you have her she is going to be very creative in all the activities

My Thoughts About Middle School

            Middle school is way different than any other elementary school. Middle school has more hallways than our school. Classroom, cafeteria, and everything is in different hallways and places. When we took the trip to Edwards Middle School the principal came and talked to us. She seemed very excited, nice, and active. I am excited about going to Middle School. The reason I'm happy is because most of my friends are going to Edwards. A couple of my friends are going to Conyers. It's so sad.

How-to Do Your Best On the CRCT

               The CRCT is in less than a week!!! Here are some tips to how-to do well on the CRCT

• Re-read the questions carefully
• Check your answers
• Don't think that you are going to get every question right
• Stay calm and concentrate on the test
• Be sure you bubble in carefully
• You need to work carefully but fast because you WILL have a limited amount of time.
• Do not cheat or look onto someone else's booklet or answers
• Get up to atleast 8 hours of sleep.
• Also eat a good breakfast (make sure it includes sugar, It makes you energetic)

My Idiom

The Old Man

               There was an old man who lived in the village all lonely and sad with no one to talk to. The old man was definitely not a lotatalk. The man was lonely ,but he was sure a sweetaholic. He loves to read goodlybooks. After a year and a half the poor man died. The old cabin he lived in was all obondoned. Everybody said that the house was haunted. They say that when you enter the old cabin you could see the old man's spirit eating sweet stuff! Everybody would then be oogabooga.

          I have three pets. One dog his name is buddy. I have two birds. Their names are Ricky and Fred.

          The reason I like his post is because he describes both his family and pets.

        My mom’s name is Star Lynn. My step dad’s name is Ronald. My brother’s name is Ronald my little brother’s name is Toby.

       He really talks about what he likes. He said this:
