Tall-Tales and Heroes

Last week on Tuesday, the chorus kids did a play called Tall-Tales and Heroes. It's a play about John Henry, Calamity Jane, Molly Pitcher, Johnny Appleseed, Paul Bunyan, Davy Crockett and others.

I was real excited and shy about the show. I never knew there would be a lot of people there. There was one of the weblog students there.  It was Derrick and some were sitting up laughing there tails off.My best-friend Becky thought I did a good job.

I was playing as the part Shirley. I was in the Paul Bunyan story. It was so fun. In my scene Paul Bunyan  is Jake. It was also Lumberjacks. I t was the best day of my life!

Bunyan was a really interesting man. I will read more of his story when I have time. Was he the man who wrote Pilgrim's Progress? I can't remember for the life of me.

I am sure your friend Becky was right. What made her think you did a good job? I'm sure everyone at JHH did a good job too!

Best wishes for your final project. I can't believe the year has ended so fast. Do you think you will write more when you are in middle school?

Hi Jadae,
I wanted to write and let you know how much I have enjoyed reading your blog. Your stories are delightful! I hope you will continue the great writing forever! Best wishes and good luck in all you do!

Mrs. Davis

we missed you singing your part.
