New Faces

Some of you may have noticed a few new faces at House over the last couple of months. 

Sanchez Ms. Sanchez is a tutor who will be working with our ESOL students.

Saffo Mr. Saffo is our new custodian who will help keep our school in such excellent condition.

Harris Mr. Harris is a student teacher in Ms. Poe's third-grade classroom. 

Dailey Ms. Dailey is a student teacher in Ms. Dugas' kindergarten classroom.

Famous Artists!

Mayra20villanueva Sepulvedamayra We have two more famous artists at JHH.  Congratulations to Mayra and Angelica whose artwork will be displayed at the Capitol Art Exhibit.  JHH has the most talented students ever!

Howardcasaria Congratulations to Casaria!  Her black and white visual arts poster was selected to represent JHH! 

Blogging for the Legislatures!

Gsu_leadership_appreciation_night_020 Gsu_leadership_appreciation_night_021_1 Jose Juan and Zachary got their caricatures made at the Georgia State University Leadership Appreciation night.  Jose Juan and Zachary were selected to show off their weblogs and how blogging is an effective use of technology in public schools.  They did an outstanding job representing JHH.

Spelling Bee Champs

Hh_19 A brother/sister duo!  Congratulations to JHH Spelling Bee winner Tramanda and first runner up Darrin!  This is the first time we have ever had a brother and sister be the winner and first runner up.  Did you two study together? 

Honor Roll Students

Hh_18 Congratulations to our 2nd Quarter Honor Roll Students!  We had so many students that you couldn't even fit in to the office to get your certificates.  Keep studying hard!

A Magical End

Hh_17 The last day of the first semester ended on a great note with Mr. Ginn's Magic Show!  What was your favorite part of the show?

Never Before...

Hh_16 Students received a prize like never before at December's Perfect Attendance Party!  Each student got their own bottle of bubbles and went outside to blow them.  It was so much fun!  What has been your favorite perfect attendance party ever?
